Classic Brownie Slab


  • 113g Plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 140g Butter
  • 1cup Soft light brown Sugar
  • 1cup Caster Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs, beaten
  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 1tbsp Coconut Oil


  1. Preheat oven to 170oC
  2. Mix dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt
  3. Melt butter, chocolate & coconut oil
  4. Remove from heat (let cool) then add in sugars and whisk for 10 seconds
  5. Add in eggs (1 at a time) and whisk for 45 seconds until glossy and smooth
  6. Fold in dry ingredients
  7. Pour batter into prepared tin
  8. Bake for 30 Minutes @ 170oC
